Pray

When I close my eyes at night I pray

Thank you for this day

And the things I have today

Thank you for the blessings

That are coming my way

One more thing I’d like to say

I know things blew up in my face

But I ask you heal his heart

Because all I can do from far away

Still my husband in my heart

Please Lord, make it stop

I want to heal the pain

That I knew I brang

Bought my own clarity with sadness

Please help me withstand this rain

Just one other thing

Please touch his soul and heal his heart

So he’ll be truly happy once again.
